Learning to speak, read, and write a second language will deepen your understanding of another culture and of your own language, thus enriching your life. You will study the modern standard-official version of spoken and written Korean, including honorifics and humble forms, the three levels of sentence endings, and the Hangeul script. Competency in this language will give you the option to pursue careers in interpreting, translation, education, and health both in Australia and overseas. Stage 1 and Stage 2 Korean at continuers level is available to students who have studied Korean throughout secondary school.
